Topic: March 19, 2022, 08:00:20 PM
They are all over facebook posting trying to get kids in for tryouts. Are they unable to get players or something?

They have plenty of 2015 players and about 7 or 8 2014's. They need about 2 more 2014's. Already have goalie. They will be ok next year. Really good in 23-24

My son plays for Pilots  so you have no clue. Numbers are good. FE lost all 2013 Pilots that did not want AAA. One has nothing to do with other.

BB failed to secure coaches for the 11, 12, and 13’s.

Whey would they expect a good turnout without having something to sell?  I wouldn’t consider that a struggle.

They got what they put into in it, and what they were expecting.

No kids for 11,12 as Holydell took them when Venom left. 13 had coach but could not get commitment from Pilots families. Guy retiring also hurt. 1 pilot family wanted to play AAA, rest said no. Pilots are fine though.

They went to Hollydell last year.

The Pilot coach backed out a while ago.

The Pilot coach backed out a while ago.

A while ago meaning March 3. Not a lot of time to find replacement. Plus Pilots had 7 2013 players and 1 commited to AAA. The rest Tier II. 11, 12 did leave last year, but 1 year is not a lot of time to replenish 2 entire teams. Stop hating and realize the tough job it is to rebuild program. In 2 years FE will be back as more younger Pilits open to AAA plus Igloo is attracting better players and coaching. Fingerhut is building Igloo into a good program, but it takes time.
