Enough Igloo hate. We get it, the rink sucks. Can we get back to what people are hearing about movement?

Great turnout last night at Voorhees for Flyers Youth pre-skates. 70+ kids for 10U & 12U. Rumor is pre-skate turnout at Flyers Elite 10U & 12U has been 4-6 kids a night at each age. Mercer Chiefs has multiple kids leaving from 2013 & 2014 teams for Tier 2. Rumor is lots of parents not happy with THF Tier 1- too many games, too much travel and too expensive. FY is saying their AA teams were better than FE & **** and they cost about 45% less. BB better watch out- Igloo kids checking out FY. My prediction is Mercer will be ok due to ProSkate, Igloo is screwed, FE will have mixed age teams at 10U & 12U and FY will take kids from all 3 rinks!

Voorhees should lock live barn before they start bragging about the 2 new kids that came to the skate. The rest are already in the club (for now)...Let's see how many are there in two weeks...Bashing another rink on here, isn't going to change what's about to happen.

Voorhees will be laughing when no one signs with FE next week because it is too expensive and to volatile at Pennsauken. Also try about 18 new players at skates, nit 2!

This year is the most I ever heard about Flyers Youth. Since October, the 2011's and 2012's have been very vocal about leaving,  just like the 2010's did.

The don't want to be left behind and be forced to play down a level, like few 10's that stayed. I'm sure some of them will be leaving as well.

Just by default, there should be an influx of Jags coming in, because of how messy the Igloo is.

Voorhees has been talking crap about Pennsauken, since they were their feeder team. Yet they never fed them.

Let's wait and see  ;)

FY parents always talk about leaving until the time comes to sign the contract with another rink. FY is a good program, has an application in for Tier 1 for 2025-26 season and has one huge advantage over other BB rinks- PRICE! THF Tier 1 is 10% AAA and 90% AA. It is not the AYHL, which we will join once we get our Tier 1 status. We will get our Tier 1 status based off our results/rankings compared to BB tier 1 rinks and BB may lose some Tier 1 programs.  FY kids try out at Tier 1 programs every year. In the end, they never leave. You are correct- "Let's wait and see". Once we are done waiting, you will see my smile from ear to ear!

Sounds like you do a great job keeping your FY parents happy! Must be the crappy practices and ice time everyone cries about?

You're correct about one thing- Most of the  parents  are afraid to leave the cocoon you have, at the end of the year.

FY has been singing that same AAA song for years. And with the two year moratorium on AAA status, you  lower the volume on that bs.

How did that lawsuit work out with trying to get AAA status??

The top THF teams compete with the Top AY teams, and the bottom AY teams fit right in with the rest of the THF. There's divisions in both leagues dummy.

Let's talk rankings-  Out of the top 5 ranked 2011 teams in the district. 3 of them are BB teams.

FY Trying to compete with ANY club is a complete joke. It's time to update your bs.

FE tuition was less than 5k last year, and had more ice time in the offseason than FY has during the season. This years tuition isn't known yet. The members will know the same time you let your members know. And with close to 150-200  hours of ice time. The posted prices aren't so crazy.

I'll be sure to revisit this post next week. You know exactly what's coming. That's why you're on this site. Desperate people do desperate things.

 ;D

Very unlikely FY get tier 1 status for many reasons but let’s pretend they did.

AYHL is not an option. Each member club has territorial rights and FY would fall in PHC territory. They would most certainly block.

THF would deny access same as AHF did. Really difficult to make it work as an independent.

FY is a not for profit and not rink owned. So they need to pay for every hour of ice they use. Unlike a rink owned club that can burn up dead ice by offering to their AAA teams at no cost. The tuition at FY would be significantly higher if they were to offer unlimited off season ice like their local competitors. It’s very difficult to survive at tier 1 unless you’re rink owned.

There are way too many tier 1 teams now. FE needs to go away, FY remain tier 2. Enough is enough.
