Knights Loss To Neshaminy Cause For Alarm
Topic: February 12, 2021, 08:21:52 AM

HATFIELD, PA. - Unexpected injuries, ceased play due to covid, and first-line starters MIA for half of the season, this is North Penn's new normal. The halfway milestone has officially come and gone and the Knights find themselves with a 2-3-1 record. While it isn't where they expected to be at this point, it is their current situation and they have to find a way to make something work.

The Knights came into the game short-handed with their first line missing again for the third time this season, they looked to keep the high powered Neshaminy offense in check. It wouldn't turn out that way. There are far too many issues to note but I will highlight turnovers, lack of functional passing, physical play, and missed opportunities stand out glaringly. The latter being a huge problem as the number of times shots are fired high or wide far outnumber the actual shots on the scoreboard.

There isn't much to write about tonight, the Knights would lose the game 8-2, while chasing the Neshaminy offense for much of the night. Knights' goal scorers were Sam Mostochuk and Ryan Kaufhold, both in the second period.
