Not sure why the question is in poor taste. Covid caused the cancellation of tryouts which ultimately changed families decisions on whether to stay put or go elsewhere.

Why? The governor shut my company of 16 years down and WE HAVE NOTHING! My son can't play travel this year and the only reason he's playing for his school is because my wife's parents are paying for it. This extreme lockout bullshit is killing our livelihoods and our kids lose out on thier childhood.

I believe people come on this site to discuss hockey topics, mostly youth hockey. Your response would indicate that this site and the whole world of sports when discussed is in poor taste. A lot of people are suffering financially due to Covid but I dont think coming on a Youth Hockey Forum will help things. Anyway, in response to the question, I think weak teams will remain weak because families prob arent willing to make the change w/ the unknown still out there.

Sorry bud I lost my job too and now doing delivery for amazon. I'm just doing what I need to do to survive. Don't be afraid to ask the club for help or make smaller payments if need be. Hopefully things will get back to normal and you can reopen again.
