If they want to draw the kids they need, Flyers Elite needs to come in at a significantly lower price AND offer more ice time. If they dont want to do this, they will have to bring a coach from another rink, who will bring kids with them.

Otherwise, they probably wont get who they need. The rink is seen as a dump in a less than desirable location.

Weekly- 3 hours of practice (no shared), 1 hr skills, 1 hr video and 1 hr personal trainer for $4800 at PW is not enough? Included in price you get spring 2x/week for April, May and 2 weeks in June, 4 day summer camp 830am to 230pm, 4 toyrnaments and 50+ games. Who else offers that much at that price? Rink is a dump but they are putting money in for improvemebt due to the new Academy team- shooting room, locker room updates, gym updated. AA about $4k- 2 shared ice practices, skills 2x/month, no video, no gym. Plus FE is a AAA rink only so no AA, A or B teams to mess up ice time. FE has tons of ice time. You need to do your homework!

Then why aren't more kids going there then? I am not saying it isn't a good deal or a good amount of ice and extra stuff. I knew that before your post.

If they offered that at half the price, would it make a difference? If they convinced a coach from another rink to coach the team and bring some of his team, would it make a difference?

that's already the lowest price around for the amount you get they will get kids at all levels for sure not to mention the black bear academy that will field teams for the upcoming season that alone will draw in talent , they have coaches at all levels , they done need new coaches they need players who are looking to get into the program and develop , we are on a team at FE and are very happy , the rink may be an older rink but they have been making repairs and updating the rink new locker rooms to come , etc. are you pushing so hard because you are the coach of the team you are talking about and are looking to relocate if so there are plenty of other rinks in the area you can go to,

it seems like you are the coach who is looking for a new rink, either that or you are trying to discourage people form going to FE either way it doesn't matter Every single season people say the same stuff about PHC FE LF JF REV, etc... and every year players move from rink to rink this year will be no deferent , and the year after and so on these forums are so very predictable .

I am sure the coaches at FE would take the coach as an assistant and take the players. However, per District rules a Tier 1 team can only take 2 Tier 1 kids from the same team and 4 Tier 2 kids from the same team. A coach can't move an entire team over to Tier 1 from another rink, unless that rink gives permission. The rink can file a complaint with the District and block the kids from moving and if they ignore the block strip the rink of its Tier 1 status.. The only exception is if the rink they are leaving is the Tier 1 feeder rink. FE has the Igloo as their feeder rink and they do not have the talent at 2012 or 2011 to make the jump to Tier 1. They have maybe 1 or 2 2013 kids and about 4-5 kids at 2014 that can make the jump. It is not as easy as just having a coach move his team to Tier 1. If you are a coach at Tier 2 and have 4 players you can bring, reach out to CK or JH at Pennsauken and discuss being an assistant coach. The head coach spots are filled.

The problem is people think Tier 1 is so expensive. Since COVID and BB the prices for all Tier 2 teams have skyrocketed. Tier 1 is a great deal when you factor in all the extras you pay for at a Tier 2 rink. Power Skating, Private Sessions, Extra practices in the Spring, and Summer Camp. All that is included at FE. With AHF adding so many teams, travel at Tier 2 is basically the same as Tier 1 now. People need to wake up and realize you get way more for Tier 1, the kids have a blast, the FE rink is great because it is no overcrowded like Igloo, Voorhees or Hollydell, you get a lot of ice time, the rink is improving and they have great developmental coaches. If you think the price is too high or the rink is not nice enough, then stay where you are. If you want your kid to improve, be challenged, have fun and actually learn how to play the game, then FE is the place for you! I think you are going to be surprised how many kids show up for tryouts in March at 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The information requests have been off the charts and I can't wait to have birth year teams next season.

I still think most BB affiliated teams will struggle to recruit the best players in the area at 2011 and 2012. They need to work against perception that organization is apathetic about strengthening teams and need to do a better job of social media, updating websites, hosting clinics, and touting rink improvements. FE has a great head coach and lots of ice time but does anyone want a repeat of two years ago when they decided not to field a 2012 team because of a lack of players AFTER AAA tryouts that left kids scrambling?? Can 2011 find enough good players to be competitive next season without their best player who is a 2012? No one is coming to FE 2012 if they’re running a 12/13 team. My prediction is that if they can use next season to show that 2012 pure is viable and really it’s more likely kids will join at Bantam. BB needs to show a commitment to their local AAA teams they have yet to show. The more enthusiastic they appear the more families will come.

FE was never going to have a 2011 or 2012 team 2 years ago. The current coach and players left for Igloo. The 2013 players followed. Stop with the will they have enough playerd BS. Either come or dont. Interest has been off the charts and  I am told they will have enough players for age year teams at 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Stop the wining about what happened 2 years ago and look to yhe future. Rink is bring upgraded, coaching is great and ice is plentifull. If you dont come, your loss!

FE is a good program, just like many other Tier 1 programs. I think this thread started to see what AAA program is best in the area. They all have pluses and minuses. People post about FE because they have the most slots available. If you have other AAA teams you think are good, please post about them. Smart ass comments don't help anyone.
