It's been asked before and no one has answered, why is Black Bear taking over failing rinks and clubs and keeping them running a bad thing?  Is having the rink closed and club shut down really a better option?

DOJ Alert! Money laundering, RICO Violations, Organized Crime Task Force Investigation! Partners, employees, board members, officers, and independent contractors might want to consider their associations UNLESS they desire witness protection relocation with a new identity in Utak eating egg noodles and ketchup! Tony Soprano need not apply!

You could probably say the same thing about the local trash collection company, bottom line getting my garbage collected is better than having it pile up in the front yard, in this case keeping the rinks open and kids playing is better than just another empty building and kids trying to find another rink to skate out of...or am I looking at this wrong?

Fear the Bear if you are running an unprofitable rink that gives no value to consumer

Don't fear the Bear if you are family with children looking to get more out of your hard earned dollars

Best thing that has happened to I 195 corridor in long time

YES men only need apply at Black Bear! Elvis & Michael Jackson would be proud! Watch out for top dogs cutting a deal and throwing everyone else under the bus when DOJ moves in! Hope they like oatmeal and water for breakfast!

The Bear and those that follow fear no one, not done until they own 50% of all rinks in NJ/PA and then start their own league to rival NJYHL, DVHL, Atlantic

LMAO. I’m not sure what’s more pathetic, foolish parents of house league level players thinking they will get their kid to D1 or the NHL or Black Bear’s attempt to monopolize NJ/PA youth hockey.  If USHL or NAHL coaches aren’t showing interest in your player, just forget it....

No there are to many teams all trying to pull from the same group of kids. The talent level is lean at best.
