I don't think they could get in if they paid somebody off.

According to public records, the rink sold for $1.29M. That's seems like a steal compared to the $3.3M that Black Bear paid for Ice-Land.

The amount of money it's going to take to fix the plumbing underneath both rinks and the infrastructure will surpass $3.3 mill with the purchase price combined when all is said and done. Pulley actually got a lot more than what that dump is worth.

Resurrecting an old post but just wanted to commend Rev Ice on a job well done this past weekend with the EJ showcase.  Our experience was good, hopefully others were too.  Seems like they are on the right path.  Nice touch with the vendors going thru the stands with CheeseSteaks and other edibles.

Was there recently for the first time since the new owners took over. They are obviously putting work into the building. The lobby and front desk looks like they stripped it down and painted it. Currently it looks sterile with the while cinderblock walls but it's in process. The locker rooms still smell like a mixture of urine and mildew. This place could be a powerhouse for hockey in the area once they get it up to par.
