How are tryouts?

My son is going into his 8th yr and I can't remember seeing this many people posting on different boards about looking for a place for their kid or clubs posting the need for more players. This yr seems a bit crazy.

Where did the 8 2011 PHC players go? What kids left the 2012 team? Every year there are rumors on this board about PHC imploding and it never pans out. Let's have some proof!

It is a fact 8 left before tryouts for the 2011's
1-Mercer
2-Little Flyers
1- JR Flyers
2- NJ Titans
1- Mid-Fairfield
1-Woodbrige

alot of players did leave actually quite a few players , they lost a good portion of there top players , I doubt people will post where they all went but they definitely lost a lot of there top talent this season

I think a lot of player movement happened as kids get older, driving 1-2 hours to an from practice 3 days a week gets old. Look at PHC rosters. 60% of players live an hour or more from Hollydell. Plus once players realize PHC is no different than other Tier 1 programs, they leave. PHC is not this mythic program no matter what the sheep at Hollydell think!
