Ah yes, another parent bashing kids with "quantity over quality". Can people read what they write? Everyone bashing FE, parent/coaches that left FE, FY, Mercer, PHC, Hollydell, LF, etc. should be ashamed. I have 5 kids- 2 play hockey, the other 3 paly soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Besides soccer, I have never read so many disrespectful posts from all parties involved. This thread sure makes me understand why hockey has the worst culture of any sport! I have read about drug use, child abuse, alcoholism, sexism, calling a man autistic, calling a women a witch, bashing kids because they are not AAA, bashing kids because they left a team, and more. Adn stop bashing Dad coaches. There are Dad coaches at every AAA rink- LF, PHC, JF, VF, WB, Colonials, Revolution, Mercer, Avalanche, Devils, Titans and more. Just because you are a dad does not mean you are a bad coach. If you don't like the dad coach, get certified and coach yourself. If not shut the hell up. If you have a problem with the refs, get certified and ref. If not shut the hell up. If you have issues with team managers, become the team manger yourself. If not shut the hell up. If you don't like a rink, change rinks. When you do go quietly and don't make an ass out of yourself on YHI. If someone left your rink and you hated them, shut up. Don't make stupid comments and make an ass our of yourself on YHI.

Everyone of these people posting should be ashamed. I am embarrassed to call myself a hockey parent. We are talking about 12, 11, 10, 9 and 8 year old kids here. Everyone needs to gain a little perspective. Most of these kids won't play past 13, and once 15 & 16 age hits the players who were just ok catch up to the "superstar" kid at PW & SQ. This is a long journey, stop bitching at each other and enjoy the experience. You are all acting like you are children. Grow the f*ck up!

Anyone who thinks JP and CO are good coaches needs their head examined.  JP has been caught talking shit on so many children it's pathetic.  He'll talk shit on kids he does privates with every week. They are not voluteer coaches.  This is a business for them, and they like to play dirty.
 FE will be their last stop in this area, and hopefully youth hockey.  BB corporate has woken up after 8u-12u tryout #s.  Any rink whose numbers sucked will have coaches and hockey directors fired.  Numbers at Hollydell destroyed Igloo and FE.  3+ teams at every level.  JP and CO had to take B players from Igloo and they have no goalie.  There's nothing Elite at Pennsauken anymore.

Three years ago the Flyers Elite had 4 teams.  This year they will have 10, including one at every birth year.  16s this year were top 25.  I would say that is success.  Why bash this program - why root for their demise?

I think the issue is filling those rosters with players who can’t make AA teams. Nobody seems to want to hear it and I’m not bashing the kids at all. But if your “AAA” consists of players who played B and A levels the prior year it isn’t a success. There’s just too many tier 1 programs in this area. I don’t understand why a parent takes child who struggles at AA or A and inserts him into that environment.

What FE rosters were filled with A and B players? JP is in chatege of 2011and 2012. Only 2012 was picked and no B players on that team. Have 3 A players rest AA

JP in charge of 2011 (not picked yet) and 2012. CO in charge of 2013. Ok now, Mr. NO -IT-ALL, which of the 2 teams have B players.? A players on both teams but they are the bottom roster spots. I am hearing every AAA rink had issues at 2012 and all but a one 2013 (PHC) had issues getting a full rosters with AAA/AA players. Told FE is very excited about 2014 & 2015 teams. So I guess your contacts are better than mine if you say the rosters are full of A and B players? Thanks for setting me straight!

Just passing through on this thread but it sounds like total mess at FE
