RIG rumored to be getting a new chiller unit (much needed) they just have to figure out if they can maintain the other rink while they do it. With a new chiller ( installed correctly) they can make adjustments they have never been able to make to each individual rink. Locker rooms still suck, but at least the ice is a start.

Obviously, cost will play a huge roll in that decision. Im afraid the tier 2 teams will only exist to support the tier 1 teams. Here to hoping against a big increase.

Nothing has been said in regards to the girls royals program? Is that still going to exist in the same rink the Lady Patriots partly skate out of? Is that even aloud?

this is a silly poll, with over 40 DVHL clubs, who is going to travel past their closest rink? So why would anyone answer yes if that’s the case? Of course they will answer NO.  If you’re going to do a poll at least give reasonable answers to choose from

This is a completely valid poll.

1) Royals Have a history of having good younger groups but as the kids get older they leave to either stop playing hockey or go to bigger programs with extras.

2) The Royals moved to BCI so now their may be closer to people

3) I personally have 4 clubs closer to my house then the one that my son plays at.

If you live in Warminster like me, until this year you had Revolution Ice Gardens, BCI, Wintersports, Hatfield Ice, Grundy, NE Skatezone, Old York Rd, Wissahickon, and Oaks Center Ice to choose from, 5 mins to 30 mins within range of each other.

Lots of crazy people. There's more than one player on my son's team commuting around an hour and driving past other programs. I would never do it, but there are plenty of people that do.

Just spreading the word here...  if anyone looking for yet another option and you're within distance to
Flemington...  Flemington Ice has both full travel and limited travel programs. They're located at: 426 Case Boulevard Flemington, NJ 08822

My son played there this year on Hunterdon Bears... extremely happy with everything. (We're closer to BCI and thought the distance would be too much. Turns out its only 30 mins away and no traffic.)
-Coaches are excellent
-The rink is clean and remodeled with a new (very good) sit down restaurant and dry training facility
-Parents and players are great ... very family friendly.
-Played in the NJYHL and EJEPL (great to get a fresh look at new rinks & teams)

The limited travel team is Flemington Fury: https://flemingtonfury.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/2020-Winter-Fury.pdf
Full travel is Hunterdon Bears: Hunterdon Bears Hockey

I'd be happy to answer questions if anyone is interested. Great place... would love to see it grow.

What I would like to see is an actual statement from the dvhl saying that the Royals character will stay in the league. Cause this whole conversation means nothing if the dvhl says in no way will they allow ownership of the revolution to go behind their back and allow them to buy their way into the dvhl

Based on what we were told last night, the Revolution was going to have no problems getting into the DVHL by themselves. But since the numbers at Royal's were greater than Rev it would be easier to switch the Rev team to Royal's so only the smaller group would have to get new jerseys.
