$100 increase for Bantam vs last year - we are a BB owned rink.

BB owned rink.  A level.  About 50 games.

About $3,000 vs $3,300  (two tournaments paid for).

It's been going up 10% a year for years now.

Yes because non BB rinks aren't dealing with Bidens inflation cost. We are a non BB rink and have had increases ever other year under Obama & Trump and every year since Biden went in. Inflation hits everyone, do you really think owners anywhere aren't putting their cost onto the customer.

PA rinks usually offer lower prices than NJ rinks. I was told this is because of property taxes. BB prices are higher than non-BB rinks. For 23-24 season, PHC PW Major cost about $5500 but Mercer Chiefs PW Major was about $6700. BB costs more but if you factor in travel for PHC it is way higher. Tier2 non-BB rinks lower too. All rink going up due to higher utilities, minimum increase, tax increase, etc. Inflation sucks!

It went up $200 after staying the same last year.  Last year we were a few hundred cheaper than the local BB rinks.  I haven’t seen their prices this season, but I imagine they went up as well.

My tuition last year was very high and this year it is now astronomically high. Not sure I can have my 2 kids play anymore. They both play Tier 2 AA and moving down is not an option. Competition below AA, especially in AHF, is a joke. My kids would skate circles around other kids. Ice Hockey is just becoming too expensive. I see many families leaving for other sports. My 1 other kid plays EDP Soccer and the cost is $2250, but that is for Fall, Winter Futsal, Spring and summer camp. You get way more in other sports for your money. Both my kids that play hockey, also play soccer & lacross. We are thinking of moving to EDP soccer and club lacrosse. Combined they are cheaper than Ice Hockey!

There are some less expensive clubs.....tale a look at Central PA Panthers, Lancaster Firebirds, and Wilmington Nighthawks.

Those clubs are great if I want to drive an hour+ every practice. I live in SJ and drive 20 minutes to the rink. Or at least I did drive 20 minutes to the rink. BB ruined everything!
