Kanaly was warned about Jay and Carl as coaches from other parents . When many people leave that tells you something.      Say no more 

"Many people" did not leave. FE lost 8 kids from the 2013 team and 1 kid from 2011 team. All but 2 kids that left were not wanted back this year. FE went from having 1 PW, 1 SQ and 1 Bantam team to having pure ages at all 3 levels while gaining over 38 players. Which is a net of 29 players. Get a clue as to what is going on before you post. I could bash other programs that lost players. LF lost 6 kids from the 2013 team. I guess SM is a problem? PHC 2012 PHC lost 6 players. I guess DK is a problem? FY, JRF, and Hurricanes lost kids at all levels. I guess all coaches there are problems? None of those coaches or programs are problems, just like FE, CO and JP are not problems. People leave for varying reasons and do what is best for their family. Your obsession with FE, JP and CO failing is borderline obsessive! We get it, you do not like the program or the coaches. You just sound like a bitter, mentally impaired loser. No one wants to keep rehashing the BS that occurred last year or listen to another Team Director bash a rival program. Just move on already!

I don't know where they are getting the 2011 team from since try out have not happened yet. Why don't you enlighten us "where" the 2011 players are coming from since you can obviously tell the future? 2012 roster has not been published yet, so you tell me where they got the 2012 players from?

That was in response to the comment saying that FE won't have mixed teams anymore. Which if someone was saying that, they know that there will be enough kids at all levels. I dont have any insight, I want to see FE succeed because there are a lot of good people there, that's all

Ah yes, another parent bashing kids with "quantity over quality". Can people read what they write? Everyone bashing FE, parent/coaches that left FE, FY, Mercer, PHC, Hollydell, LF, etc. should be ashamed. I have 5 kids- 2 play hockey, the other 3 paly soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Besides soccer, I have never read so many disrespectful posts from all parties involved. This thread sure makes me understand why hockey has the worst culture of any sport! I have read about drug use, child abuse, alcoholism, sexism, calling a man autistic, calling a women a witch, bashing kids because they are not AAA, bashing kids because they left a team, and more. Adn stop bashing Dad coaches. There are Dad coaches at every AAA rink- LF, PHC, JF, VF, WB, Colonials, Revolution, Mercer, Avalanche, Devils, Titans and more. Just because you are a dad does not mean you are a bad coach. If you don't like the dad coach, get certified and coach yourself. If not shut the hell up. If you have a problem with the refs, get certified and ref. If not shut the hell up. If you have issues with team managers, become the team manger yourself. If not shut the hell up. If you don't like a rink, change rinks. When you do go quietly and don't make an ass out of yourself on YHI. If someone left your rink and you hated them, shut up. Don't make stupid comments and make an ass our of yourself on YHI.

Everyone of these people posting should be ashamed. I am embarrassed to call myself a hockey parent. We are talking about 12, 11, 10, 9 and 8 year old kids here. Everyone needs to gain a little perspective. Most of these kids won't play past 13, and once 15 & 16 age hits the players who were just ok catch up to the "superstar" kid at PW & SQ. This is a long journey, stop bitching at each other and enjoy the experience. You are all acting like you are children. Grow the f*ck up!

Does anyone know anything about the black bear academy at the midget AAA level?

I cant tell if it is an independent team or group of all stars from the local BB affiliates trying to go to nationals.

If you are interested you should reach out to BB or one of the rinks. From what I know they are holding tryouts for this and then discuss details with you. They want the most competitive team they can get. Also there are players on the team from Canada and Europe.
