So we paid money to play on teams, but my question is, when are we going to see regular season schedules, dates, declarations, etc. ? Anyone know?

DVHL was meeting this week to confirm some plans. AYHL isnt doing their meeting until the beginning of August. Until the leagues give go ahead no one is able to schedule. I know they are evaluating lots of options. DVHL has it a little easier from a geography stand point than the AY. AY might be a nightmare. Not sure about NJYHL. Declarations are in for the DVHL and AYHL. Likely wont be posted until they know teams are able to schedule.

Some teams haven’t even done evals because their rinks haven’t been able to open yet.  The Dvhl has a couple of scheduling contingencies based on possible Covid related shut downs, but divisions would be publicly available ~August 1st at the earliest and schedule ~Aug 19th at the earliest.

Dvhl will have divisions set early August and begin scheduling season games shortly after.

Bankruptcies everywhere, any rink that is allowed to open now, but CHOOSES not to, is history! DON'T GIVE THEM A DIME!

Hopefully we can get our divisions by Mid-August. But I do know some teams that are doing labor day tournaments in Boston and Philly to prepare for the season. Do you guys think those tournaments will happen?

As of right now, anything in Mass is a no go. Tourneys there this month are scrambling to move to NH.

What about mass tournaments such as Super Series in Sept?

Players, coaches, officials from Delaware can not travel to NJ or PA without quarantining 14 days first. This would include hockey games/practices/tournaments.

If one coach, parent, official, kid dies or even ends up on a vent, start planning for 2021. Or a new sport.
