How are the kids being penalized? They don't care what color the jersey is or what logo is on it. All they care about is playing with their friends and in this case it's obvious everybody made the same decision.

Let’s be honest - that really wasn’t much of a decision to make.  You either decided to stay at Ice Line with Team Philadelphia, or you were willing to live with the uncertainty of whether or not the Quakers would have somewhere to play and would be able to field a competitive team or you looked somewhere else.  The reality is that if Ice Line had gone about this the fair and honorable way, and gave the Quakers enough time to realistically find another option that many families would have opted to stay at Ice Line anyway.  However, for many families, including those who wished to remain with the Quakers there were too many questions and uncertainty that prevented them feom staying unless they were willing to accept the risk that the team might not have somewhere else to play.  Can’t blame the parents or the kids for making the decision they did - but there wasn’t really much of a decision.

Is it true the Philadelphia club dropped player payments and some teams got jerseys thrown into the deal? There really isn't much of a decision to make from a parents perspective if your bound to the area and the amount you have to pay is well below any other competing hockey club.

Unfortunately what's done is done. Whether you view at as dishonest, disingenuous, unethical, misguided or skeptical of an outcome. The Quakers are moving forward with success and will have competitive teams throughout the club. The Quakers are building from the Mites and Rookies on up. It will take time and Faith, rest assured the Quakers are here and staying.

Must be nice to have your cake and eat it too, then take somebody else's cake, eat theirs and not be held accountable for taking what isn't rightly yours. As a sitting member of the board of the AAHA, he has nothing to fear with respect to ramifications, subsequently his club will be fast tracked into the DVHL next year, no doubt. The Philadelphia club should be banned for life from ever competing in the DVHL. He can play his teams in the EJEPL where they compete for nothing, that's what he deserves. For those who are going to say what about the children, this is his mess he created, it's the parents of those children's fault for putting them in that position.

Quakers had very good teams. But their  board was run very poor and  they were not teaching all they  proper skills at the younger levels. If LR had any type of sense this would of never happen. People think they know it all, but they don't. Team Philadelphia is moving hockey in the right direction. Kids are making teams because of skill, not because of who their  parents know.

There isn't one youth hockey club that isn't run with a 95% political agenda. EVERY club places kids based on who knows who.

I Posted before I finished. The Philadelphia team is no different, it's why they made a conscience effort to ensure the Quakers coaches came too. Those teams are almost exact duplicates of what they were with the Quakers, plus or minus new players that somebody on the team already knew.

Is this for real? I hope your not a new Philadelphia player parent because this is one of the dumbest responses I've read. Your talking about an organization that still exists the Quakers are still a functioning club and they are not going away. You say the Quakers organization didn't teach the kids proper skills? The coaches from the Quakers are the coaches of the Philadelphia teams. Who do you think is coaching them? Learn a little bit about who your kid is playing for, I promise you will be pretty surprised at what you find that wasn't told to you.

DVHL website looks like it has been updated.  Still no schedules posted, but the teams within each Division seem to have been updated.
