Rule Question
Topic: May 04, 2019, 02:32:21 PM
I have seen kids play juniors and tier 1 in the same season, sometimes going back and forth between teams before the roster deadline.  Can a kid do the same thing with juniors and a tier 2 team?

If they're playing junior, why would they want to play tier ll? That's like going back and playing house league.

1.AAA is often no better than AA.
2.Low level junior (EHLP or NA3HL for example) is about the same depending on the teams playing.
3.Less expensive
4.Less travel

Fair enough, I do agree with you only because it's common for tier 1 players to drop down and play tier ll AA. I can't comment to your original question with certainty but I would have to assume it's the same rule. Your best bet is to find an indy elite team if you're looking to extend or incorporate additional ice time. There are no rules for indy clubs who aren't tier 1 or tier ll members. You can play a full season with both.
