Not closing but Ocean Ice Palace was trying to take over Brick Hockey Club the same way IceLine did the Quakers. Brick won't be playing out of Ocean next season. With no club hockey and HS all gone, OIP might not be 'for sale' but will be sold shortly.  The financials on an old single sheet no longer work. The attempted 'club grab' was a desperate attempt to stay viable.

OIP has no successful history of operating any youth, adult, or figure skating or street program. Monuments to failed programs all around the property.
Motivated every single business, school, or organization that ever did business there to go elsewhere.
