AYHL 15 Pure

It appears as if the AYHL and Atlantic District greatly expanded the number of pure 15 teams(everyone has one now!)

Does anyone know if 15 pure will now be split into National and American like the other age groups?

Great idea. So much variation in height/weight for 13-16 year olds. There should be more age-specific level teams, even if it means fewer clubs can field certain age-level teams.

There shouldn’t be a Pure 15U American - those kids should play Tier 2.  Another example of further dilution of the meaning of tier 1.  It’s okay to play tier 2. 99% of the kids are tier 2 level.

I could argue it is not a great idea, last year at 16u there was 16 national upper, 16 national lower, 16 american and 15 pure. Either a money grab for guliable parents or atlantic district is developing a boatload of talent.

Also, narrow age levels is not going to help. I can show you 15 year olds that are 6' with facial hair and 15 year olds that are just over 5' with baby fat. Age specific will not help.

Anyway...the question is, now that everyone has 15 pure and it is not a limited division, are they going to break it up between national and american?
