Let the rink hopping begin! People trying out for PHC are so dumb. Teams have been picked already and they want to lock all the kids that don't make it into the Hurricanes. There may be 1-2 spots at the bottom of a roster for kids that surprise, but that is it. Those kids on bottom of roster will sit against better teams. And don't buy into the BS that PHC does not offer kids on day 1. Those that are offered keep it quiet and then sign later. Don't buy into the scam!

LF took a really good girl from Hollydell Hurricanes and a D from PHC at 2013 level. LF not happy with 43rd national ranking last year. Time to move out the bottom of roster and bring in better players! Do your thing SM!

Why would anyone who doesn’t make PHC want to play for hurricanes tier 2, PHC does not promote from within, there is no spot further from PHC than Hollydell AA.  The premise that PHC is keeping players locked in for two nights does more to weaken other tier 1 clubs than anything at the tier 2 level.  One thing I will agree on is that hollydell is all about that $$$ just as much as Black Bear if not more.  Imagine paying $20k for hockey and having a daddy coach 😂

I was told by coaches I know at LF & JrF that parents said kids were going to tryout for PHC and if they did not make it they would be back on Thursday. Coaches told all the parents you either come to all tryout days or find another team. Other programs are catching on to the PHC scam. Will it help them? I think it helped LF, who already had kids recruited before tryouts and knew who they were cutting.
