2011 did replace a lot of players so if you were told roster spots were available I don’t see how that was a lie.

Btw, Hurricanes AA teams are better than most FE AAA teams. If you’re on Hurricanes you probably have a better roster and coach.

Where in my post did I mention FE? I did not. I may have use examples of kids from FE, but what PHC does happens to many kids from other rinks. My post was an answer to why people hate TB. Lets not start up again on FE bashing. We all know what kind of program they have. Also, Hurricanes AA may be good, but it is still AA. They would get killed by all the AYHL teams and the top 5-6 teams in the THF. Let's now make AHF AA out to be great league. They have maybe 3-4 good teams at the top and the rest are basically high A teams.

PHC kids do not move down to hurricanes they leave for another aaa club.  Hurricane AA kids do not move up to PHC because PHC is out recruiting world class talent.  The PHC is always set by the evals come around.  Most kids are hand picked to make the team.  Many new kids end of leaving when they only glimpses of the ice but go onto other AAA teams.  A lot of people have left both PHC and Hurricanes.  Not sure if it’s the coaching and development or the director.  But it doesn’t seem like they care to retain people either.

Recruiting world class talent? Where is that world class talent on the 2012 and 2011 teams? They are good players but both teams will be lucky to be in top 40 this year. The only "world class talent" at PHC is on the 2013 team and who know how good those kids will be once puberty is in full swing at age 15-16. That world class talent comment was very funny. PHC is really believing their own BS now!

Wait, so you weren’t promised a spot, just told there were roster spots available? Went to tryout, got cut and was approached by AA coach?

Yeah that’s so shady!!!!!These are horrible people. Shame on AA coach for trying to field the best team possible.

Ok moron, you missed the point entirely. The kids were told they had a great shot at making PHC. PHC knew the kids were not good enough but told them this anyway. Then they cut the kid on day 3 of tryouts, knowing all other AAA teams are full. The kid is devastated and now tries to call up old team, but finds out what PHC already knew, the roster is full. Then TB says, "hey we have openings on our AA team". The kid has no choice. The issue is not that the AA coach wants the best team. The issue is PHC tricks you into thinking you can make PHC, knowing you are not good enough, cuts you and pulls the AA bait and switch. A coach or rink director can't promise you a roster spot. They have to say you have a good shot at making the team. If they promise the entire roster a spot, then they would get sued by holding "tryouts" that are not really tryouts. Plus the AAHA has rules against tampering, but that has not stopped PHC/TB since they control the district.

Hey moron, my kid is on the team. They didn’t post the roster on night 3.

We were all told roster spots were available. They replaced more than half the team. Some made it and some didn’t. There were 30-40 kids at the tryout.

People are soft. Nobody can be cut in 2025. Everyone needs to get everything they want.

I would take legal action.

Kid attends 40 player tryout with no commitment made to any players in advance. Player is not selected.

Then to make matters worse is offered a spot on AA team that is likely as good or better than players former team with a more knowledgeable coach.

Seems like a scam to me.

Only certain kids on PHC were told they had spots, that is obvious who they were. The kids who's were cut went to 4 AA Hurricanes, 1 Flyers Elite, 2 Red Bank, 1 LI Gulls. 2 Kids didn't come back went to Prep school and one was dropping to AA and did not tryout who would have made PHC if he stayed. So spots were to be had on this team. TB i am pretty sure was transparent with all parents involved. If your kid did not make the team it is probably because he is not good enough. Stop blaming TB/PHC.

TB flat out lied. 2011 and 2012 PHC will not be very good anyway. 2011 8th best and 2012 maybe 5th best in district. Luster of PHC is fading!
