3rd party tournament websites make big money off youth hockey

No big surprise here and while many do appreciate the alternative to team reps coordinating the tournaments, most families believe they're being fleeced due to poorly managed coordination by the tournament companies. From poorly designated hotel accommodations with astronomical room rates to age group specific designations that do not match talent correctly within A/AA/B levels. Not to mention some companies tournament reps do not communicate adequately if at all back to team managers.

MyHockey is getting out of hand. $1700 for the tournament in Northern VA over Columbus weekend. I know they do make it super easy to book, but its getting a little out of hand.
