How did PHC 2011 tryouts go ? And team? New coaches

North to South for 2011 AAA :
Saints - does not exist
Avalanche - lots of turn over again
Hitmen - nothing revolutionary, couple of kids changed
Colonials - nothing revolutionary, couple of kids changed, tryouts were a bit light on kids though
Titans - nothing revolutionary, comparable to last year
Rockets - still recovering from not having a team 2 years ago, but picked up some good kids from other orgs

forgot about Wolfpack - due to the news that some detested coach was coming ( didn't pan out at the end ), bunch of kids left. So this year they also have plenty of turn over as well. Next year not going to be as strong as this year, but strong enough

You mean other rinks put a rumor out about Wolpack coach, kids left and rumor was false. Where did I hear that story before? Hockey is full of scumbag rink directors, ex-coaches and parents who quit!

nops, that coach was from outside who coached those kids before. And he was the one who was blabbing about it to everyone who would listen. Wolfpack confirmed that info to the team ( so it was NOT a rumor ) however later rescinded the invitation i guess.

Everyone is back bozo. No one left. Not many teams can say that. The 2011’s have a full team signed already…Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here?  You and I both know you aren’t the sharpest crown in the box…Maybe you should spend this time fixing your  messy life.

We stayed at PHC. They have a decent bar and my kid likes the food.

I don't really understand why parents care about someone else's talent. So some kid is a better player, scores goals, gets lots of ice time, at this age how is it helping your/mine kid.
We were at the team with the "talent", everyone else who weren't in the small group of "talent" + HC/AC/Manager kids group were 2nd grade citizens. Coach was more focused on keeping that talent and scouting for outside talent then anything else. Looking back - complete waist of time and air.

Moved to the org that for whatever reason does not do scouting "at least to my knowledge" and does not have "special" kids. Couldn't be happier.
