Sounds like PHC 2011's lost 10 and kept 6. They got back 3 previous PHC players and they added a few pipeline Hollydell AA players who were one of the top AA teams in the area this season. Some really great coaches that are taking over for JB so it will be interesting to see how this group does.

How did PHC 2011 tryouts go ? And team? New coaches

North to South for 2011 AAA :
Saints - does not exist
Avalanche - lots of turn over again
Hitmen - nothing revolutionary, couple of kids changed
Colonials - nothing revolutionary, couple of kids changed, tryouts were a bit light on kids though
Titans - nothing revolutionary, comparable to last year
Rockets - still recovering from not having a team 2 years ago, but picked up some good kids from other orgs

Colonials picked up a bunch of top players from other teams, as did Jr Flyers. Not sure where the kids went who didn't make it due to the new additions.

Another week of tryouts, and more FY on the move. If they only cared about their members, this wouldn't have happened....

If the igloo wasn't such a mess, there wouldn't be much left at FY, except the coaches kids...Just wait until they follow everyone else

Who's laughing now??????

Damn, they lost 10 kids?! Maybe they should have made that coaching change earlier

HEY BOZO, your post that's full of bad info...I'm sure you're on of the dopes that a left two years ago, that went on to coach elsewhere, but was told they weren't allowed on the bench this year.

No one from the 11/12 team left or wanted to leave...Where  are you playing this year?? Did you find a rink yet?? You're better suited on this page, then on any bench...But you don't have that option anymore huh? Just be a crazy parent. Coaching isn't for you, which is why that was taking from you, again.

Come back with some facts. ;)

It funny how 90% of the post on this page are disgruntled parents, coaches, and program directors hating that FE grew so much these past two months...Yet the 2011 FE team didn't have any of these issues? That team grew, and the only bullshit around that team are the people on this post.

And the almighty PHC team pulled many kids from tier 2, and along with a bunch of rink hoppers.

Good luck this year ! You're gonna need it !

Could this be the year that FE 2011 > PHC 2011?

I dont know anyone on either team, but that is what it sounds like. Where did FE get their new 2011 kids from?

Doubtful. PHC has proven to be great at developing players. Unfortunately when those kids get really good - they hop to better ranked teams or prep schools. That's the way it goes in youth hockey. With the new coaches this year, development will continue be top priority and the future is bright for the kids who stayed/joined.

FE 2011 won 9 games in their league last year. If development was a priority, they would have improved throughout the year. But I guess anything is an improvement from last year for them.

PHC shows no loyalty to kids, recruits outsiders to make the team better, then is surprised when these outsiders leave for other teams, forcing PHC to pull kids up from Tier 2. I am amazed how FE was bashed for pulling kids from Tier 2 but PHC is somehow exempt from this criticism! PHC is suck a bad culture, once people leave they are shocked how great other programs are. Parent start to wake up once Bantam hits because now things are real if their kid as a shot to play in college. Do it think 2011 FE are better than PHC? No, but the gap has shrunk significantly!
