Take a look at the AHF median travel times:

15 out of 30 teams have a median travel distance of over 50 miles (so over an hour).

But they'll have there schedules in a few days so they can plan for those close day trips 5 months in advance so their 3 other non hockey kids can have fun too. So much for BB is saving youth hockey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining about 1 hour drive times.

I was stating that 1 hour drive times is normal.

And from where I live, a 1 hour drive to an away game is an "easy one".

And it has been that way long before BB.
