I am a reporter at Newsday writing today about the locker room incident involving the Gulls. I am looking for parents of players with first hand knowledge of the incident who are willing to talk. I am at 631-843-3021 or by email at robert.brodsky@newsday.com
Thanks
Robert Brodsky

Kinda unfair to tarnish an entire program or even a whole team because of one or a few kids. Those actually involved should simply be expelled.  Plus bad parents, coaches, kids are everywhere....  Was surprised to hear about the coach’s past if true... didn’t the coach of a team in NJ have a similar history?

Was the team suspended or just the one that did it?

New rules this year per USA Hockey, all teams are supposed to have a locker room monitor to make sure things like this dont happen, i guess they did not

I have never heard this before.  We have been involved with four LI organizations over the years and I think the Gulls is great!  I don’t know what you are talking about!

That isn't new. It's always been a rule. Nobody wants to do it.

So basically no one knows anything officially about the 05 Gulls and possible suspension?  This is all rumor....
