Yes they did. Less than half of Genesis is ID’s O4’s from a year ago

Where the heck else would they play? They are an all-04 team and a “pure” 04 team would not voluntarily play up against the best 03’s that you find a AA. You would want to stay where your age predominately is which is national A.  The skill level is the same in both divisions it’s just that AA is mostly 03’s and A is mostly 04  so obviously if they competed against each other, kids a year older at 03 should roll teams that are all 04. Not to mention why would an all 03 team want to play against kids a year younger than them anyway  The kids of lesser ability play in American A or the B division.  The DVHL itself will tell you the same thing  Or maybe you think the Blazers pure 04 team should play up two birth years and voluntarily go into midget 18UA?   What exactly is your hard-on for the Blazers 04?   Did your son’s team have a heartbreaking loss to the Blazers last year or something?

But A National is not a 04 division. There are two other 04 teams and two almost all 03. Three other teams are more than half 03

Exactly. Further proves the point. That there is no reason or expectation that the Blazers all-04 team should be in the AA division which certainly for all the best all or mostly all 03 teams. National A will not only have all your other 04 teams but many teams that have 03s on them and will be a tremendous challenge.  The Blazers already have a midget team in the AA division and it contains their 03 players.
