Old York Road closing?

Has anyone heard if OYR was shutting down? Just heard this today so if it's old news (or if it's even true) I apologize. Thanks.

I haven't heard that though they are in a tight spot.  The Raiders apparently aren't fielding any teams this upcoming season. The only thing keeping them going right now is Wissahickon is using their ice while their rink is being renovated. In the fall there are some high school teams slated to use the rink for practices. Not sure if SHSHL will use them for games like they did last season.

According to a comment made on one of the Facebook post shares, an individual says it is accurate. He isn't naming names but says a reliable source who is close with ownership advised the owners no longer have interest in running the venue and closing for good is what is currently being discussed.

Spoke to an organization this weekend that was planning to use the rink this fall and they were told OYR is closing as well.
