The SHSHL Votes To Officially Welcome Back Quakertown Ice Hockey

This past weekend the SHSHL board met to ratify Quakertown Ice Hockey Association's bid to re-enter into the league.



At first, (last year) the idea was passed around to gauge student interest, if we put together enough players could we re-start the program? The response was overwhelming and after months of planning, preparation and volunteer coordination it's become reality.

Yesterday the SHSHL made it official with a unanimous vote to welcome the Quakertown Panthers Ice Hockey Association into the league. The Panthers plan to start their initial campaign icing Middle School and Varsity Hockey team's. Tentatively the Varsity program is penciled in to participate in the "Continental" division but placement is also subject to change.

The Quakertown Ice Hockey Association family has worked hard at making this happen and now they can rest easy knowing what was originally a concept is now their reality.
