VIDEO: Grundy Senators Donate To Gift Of Life In Memory Of Teammates

On Tuesday night the Grundy Senators Hockey Club made a $10,000 donation to the Gift of Life Donor Program in memory of former teammates Patrick Gannon and Phillip Oseredzuk.

Patrick Gannon passed away in 2016 at the age of 13 after an accidental fall. Phillip Oseredzuk passed away in a boating accident this past May 2019. The parents of both young men chose to donate their organs to Gift of Life.

To honor their fallen teammates, players and their families organized a tournament in October to raise money for the Gift of Life.

Senators President Dave Coyne said, "Our goal with the Grundy organization is to make it more than hockey. It's not just about hockey. It's what you're doing for your community."
