How Many Tournaments Do Your Teams Play Per Season?

The question is open ended and isn't directed at any specific age group, but is specific to Atlantic District Tier ll teams at every age level.

What is the standard number of tournaments your Tier ll hockey team(s) play per season? There are no right or wrong answers, it's solely a fact finding interest. Names of clubs and age levels would be helpful.

Bantam team, played in EJ and DVHL, not including EJ showcases which were also local for us our team did 4 tournaments, 3 local (ie did not have hotel costs) and 1 out of town.

2 travel 2 close to home and at least one over the summer

Genesis 16UA American will have done 5 tournaments after next week.

Squirt B National, 2 local tournaments and we’re traveling for President’s Day.  It kind of depends on how heavy your league schedule is and how hard core your parents/kids are.

For the 8 years my son has played so far, I would say we average 4 a year. Pretty sure both PWAA years he played 5. We never did more than 1 travel tournament in a given season.
