Mid to late 80's (I think 1987) Ice World and Rockets folded up shop, did that leave the Little Flyers as the only AAA (then called AA) in the District?  Atlantic League had Little Caps, Little Flyers, Oyster Bay & who else at that time?  Suffolk PAL?  NJ Arrows?  Where are the history buffs?

I think so and Jr Flyers started in 1988 1989 and were LF only local competition for tier 1 which back then was AA. There were no AAA teams.

Think Ramapo won Bantam nationals in 1989, Ferraro brothers were on the team, anyone remember that group?

Brick, Colonials for a little while Eagles (JSA now wildcats) If you go earlier then eagles the Monmouth Hawks as well. Early 80's Jersey City Capitals were very good. Toms River had a solid run in the late 80's early 90's.

The Ferraro brothers also played for the Little Flyers as well and Jeremy Roenick played for the NJ Rockets

I don’t think Ferraro brothers played for Flyers, they were from LI

They played PW Quebec Flyers
