Black Bear Sports Group is interested in acquiring Grundy Arena. Makes first pitch to rink and borough officials. (Full video of the meeting below)
BRISTOL, PA. Last night Bristol Borough Council discussed the future of Grundy arena with Black Bear Sports Group. The meeting opened up discussion for interest in the 15 year old building. Grundy Municipal Skating Arena sports 2 professional sized ice rinks in the heart of Bristol Borough. The rink has a storied history going back to 1995 when the original Grundy Arena caught fire and burned down.

Youth Hockey Info has been informed the discussions will proceed, nothing has been finalized. If the deal goes through, Grundy Rink will be Black Bear Sports Groups 17th rink to be added to their portfolio. The offer is said to be for $4 million. The rink needs at least $100k in immediate need repair.
