My guess is that if this is even true, they just haven't announced it yet. It's still a year and half away from happening. I assume they wouldn't announce until everything is official.

Sounds like an NHL player machine ready to churn out dozens of new pro stars every year. Quick sign up your mcdavid clones mom and dad and dump tens of thousands into this program I am sure they'll promise your kid a straight shot to the show. Like all of the hords of other top end prep schools that maybe produce a pro draft pick every few years and the kid never makes it. I'm sure the wallets are opening everywhere. Stupid people your kid isn't going anywhere unless a college or pro coach contacts you directly and says to get your kid into a prep school of the coaches choice.

It's been asked before and no one has answered, why is Black Bear taking over failing rinks and clubs and keeping them running a bad thing?  Is having the rink closed and club shut down really a better option?
