All of this just serves to prove that youth hockey in the US is a total shambles. For profit programs, third rate coaching, a hodgepodge of levels and completely insane parents. If USA Hockey did its job rather than collecting millions in fees and promulgating idiotic rules maybe the US would develop more high quality players and grow the sport.

Beach created a lot of animosity by moving the FE 2011 and Venom 2012s to Hollydell. He let his minion do the dirty work of lying to PHC/Hurricane parents that left a lot of them scrambling to place their kids since there was almost no slots that weren’t occupied by FE and Venom kids. Some parents at PHC that had short commutes are now faced with dropping down to Hurricanes or much longer drives. The training they provide is pretty much inline with what the rest of the Tier 1 programs provide. The fact that they keep chasing CJR tail though is kinda a turnoff too.
