The typical stuff. First State ran a clinic before the merger was announced, Ducks complained and called it recruiting before the end of Nationals and complained. DUcks also wanted to complain that Sean Cannon is the Head Coach of Avon Grove Varsity hockey and they wanted DVHL to rule that he couldn't coach both them and JBH U18. DVHL initially sanctioned JBH telling them they couldn't sign players from other organizations. JBH fired back saying that DHD is doing the exact same thing with Ducks. Ducks disavowed any knowledge of DHD. Someone pulled Livebarn footage of Ducks people attending a DHD event before Nationals ended that they previously said they had no idea about. Also had footage of the Ducks hockey director on the ice without a helmet which is supposed to be an automatic USA Hockey suspension.
To sum it up, Ducks accused JBH of illegal recruiting, got caught illegally recruiting themselves and rather than sanctioning both clubs DVHL sanctioned nobody in the end. It has been pretty entertaining to watch as person without a horse in the race.
