I would imagine it's been done before at the youth level but to my knowledge I don't know that anybody's gotten one on video.



Philadelphia Jr Flyers 16u goalie Rocco Bruno scores an open net goal today in Long Island against the Royals.

I have been involved all levels of youth hockey in Ontario and Michigan for 47 years and I have never heard of a kid goalie scoring an empty net goal. He has a story to tell his kids and his kids and grandkids for years to come.

As a goalie dad i would love to see this happen for my son.

One question though, how many penalties were given for the bench clearing to celebrate? looked like time was still on the clock.   ;D
