Flyers Elite starting 2013 Tier 1 AAA team. Kids from Pennsauken Pilots will make up core. Pilots are A division in AHF and get killed by AHF Advanced teams, who will be AAA next year. Delusional coach thinks he will win next year.  Suckering delusional parents who think kids are great because they win Squirt B tournaments & AAA is best. This will be ugly like Flyers Elite 2011 AAA team. Outscored 285-31 so far. Most AA teams would destroy 2011 Flyers Elite.  Parents are so stupid!

Good recruiter, poor coaching choice. Coach not great player developer. Winning #1, but need way more talent to compete. Heard coach is trying to poach PHC leftovers and crappy Voorhees players. Coach took job cause other rinks didn't want him.

What coach is trying to poach PHC players? From what the 2011 team? to go back to Flyers Elite haha
I agree Flyers Elite 11's are a A team at best, if i was a parent i would be looking at another team especially for the 2011's. That's embarrassing to get beat like that game in and out, it can't be fun for the kids

Poaching mites that won't make PHC 2013 team. Coach is calling families from hurricanes and venom. Rumor floating that families not happy with direction of Holydell. Families should run from Elite. Program is bad, and Guy may leave. AAA is a joke anyway

AAA is a complete joke in this area. Too many teams with too little talent. Parents willing to shell out the $$$ is more important than talented players.

My child plays for Coach Zeke. These post are ridiculous. He is a great coach for young kids. He has great family and cares about all the players. He is just trying to keep the team together for next season. Whether you think AAA is a joke is irrelevant. Families will do what is best for them. Lots of factors go into the decision. Coach is trying to rebuild a 1st year AAA squirt team that saw Venom decimate last year by moving to Holydell. Also Pilots don't have enough players to fill out entire team. They will need other players from other rinks. Some Pilots may not want to play AAA either. It is a huge commitment and my child plays other sports. Can't play AAA and other fall sports. I believe in playing as many sports as possible at a young age. Just focus on skating as that is most important part of hockey. I see kids that can barely run, but are fantastic on the ice. In the end the lack of a well rounded athlete will hurt these kids. Ask any NHL or College player and they will say they played multiple sports until they were 14 or 15 and then concentrated on hockey.  Stop the hating and realize that these are just children. If a family leaves a rink or does not play AAA it does not mean they hate the coach. It means that maybe they are not ready for that heavy of a commitment.  Coach is also reaching out to his contacts at other rinks to see what families plan to do for 2013 kids. Not every kid will make PHC 2013 AAA and don't want to be a 2nd class player at Holydell. Voorhees does not have a AAA program, so kids who want to play AAA would naturally jump to Elite. Stop the hating and realize that these are just children. In the end parents do what they think is best for their children.

Also to all the posters above who are probably from Holydell, Venom Major beat Pilots on Saturday because Pilots were missing 3 players. When they play again with Pilots at full strength the game is a pick-em. Pilots are a really good team and lost their best player in December. Still will most likely win AHF A division. Probably not good enough wo win AHF Advanced, but Pilots A team crushed Venom Minor. Pilots woul be middle of pack in Advanced. In the end, let's all just allow our kids to have fun! That is the most important part.

Your opinion of AAA being a joke in the area is incorrect at some levels. I know from being around the AAA 2011 teams and the ones that i have seen are very good especially in the NJ area, PHC has a ton of Talented players.
Mercer, NJ Colonials, PHC, Woodbridge, Lehigh, Titans are all legit and even the JR Flyers and all do well at the AAA level. But teams like Flyers Elite & VF Minutemen should not be playing a AAA schedule or even a AA schedule. Both teams combined are 4-58-1 obviously something is not working. Again it sucks for the kids confidence

Sure, there are some examples of good teams within some age groups. My point is that there are too many AAA teams in the area and the majority aren't even AA level.
