AYHL adding new teams

Phila HC & Palmyra full members, JS Whalers schedule partner (no idea what that means, they only had 1 decent team in program)

maybe they got tired of travel for USPHL, competition not better (many people think not as strong as AYHL)

USPHL has gone to a showcase model.  4 showcases spread out over the season, all in NJ.  So I don't see travel as the issue.  Furthermore, Palmyra is low to mid level team in the USPHL and PHC mid to upper (2007 to 2012 divisions).  So I wouldn't make them out as TOP teams  HAHAHA.

Depends on the birth year I wouldn’t necessarily say it will be better competition. 2011 and 2012 is a good birth year for the AYHL so should be some strong competition there but by comparison the bottom 6 teams in the 2010 AYHL Division LF, LI Royals, Palmyra, NJ Devils, VF MM and WB Scranton all have a lower My Hockey rating than the lowest team in their Tier 2 counterpart the DVHL PWAA. Those teams were A National to bottom AA at best. So you pay triple the money to play against teams that wouldn’t even fare that well at Tier 2
