Description:
With the rift between Genesis and AHF management, what happens next when there are no more teams left to play and the DVHL folds? Will Genesis wind up an independent program playing in the EJ?

There is no rift and you will most likely see Genesis in the AHF next year.

Genesis is not playing in the AHF. AHF is not expanding in PA and only taking a few more clubs in NJ supposedly.

Genesis, Ice Works, and all other area clubs will have 3 decisions to make next year. 1) Beg AHF to join and likely pay a premium. 2) Continue to scramble to find teams to form a league. 3) Stay out of the AHF and watch their rink business drop.

Highly unlikely any of the teams from Pennslyvania will be joining the AHF.  DVHL and NJYHL should partner with EJ and form a viable alternative

In our 1st year of the AHF and am wondering if going independent or back to DVHL would be a terrible thing. AHF is as unorganized as the rest. Stupid schedules were you are at 2 different rinks over a hour apart and only 3-4hrs between games. Went to an AHF showcase and no refs are scheduled for the game and go to the All Star game and have no coaches for the team. The parity was a joke and did nothing to make levels fair, and the Krach ranking system is a joke. Played a team higher in the rankings and won for us to drop the next week while they went up in ranking. Not 100% as advertised and overall disappointed, if I were Genesis or any other team in a different league I'd think hard about joining.

The AHF is not perfect, but is way better than NJ or DV. We will play 52 games with regular season, showcase and 3 tournaments. Team has been contacted by Flyers Youth and other NJ teams asking if we can play non-league games. We are full and had schedule since mid- August. I have been told by multiple Voorhees parents they are looking to leave for Holydell or Igloo due to the nightmare scheduling this year. They can't get games like they did last year due to AHF. That is the point of the AHF. If you play a 40 game league schedule you don't need to schedule non-league games. The reason for multiple games on the same day at rinks an hour away is 4 AHF rinks had issues with AAA team conflicts that play our of their rinks and the schedule was changed after it was already set. With 5 more organizations (as of now) joining the AFH next year, the schedule will be better. Also what is wrong with playing a team 3-4 times? If has made the games better and rivalries are being built? While I am not 100% happy with everything AHF does, it is just superior to NJ & DV from last year!

If AHF is not good, why are Avalanche, Colts and Bandits all joining full time?  Why is Genesis desperate to join?  These are not Black Bear clubs?
