They were 18 - 0 scored 175 for and only allowed 24 goals. Looks like they won by 10 or more goals 10 times. I guess I miss spoke they would have been one of the bottom teams in the 18AA division.

Early results are showing DV, NJ, & EJ teams kicking *ss against AHF teams. Guess parents got smart and moved talented kids away from BB run leagues. Don't get me started on AYHL record against that fraud AAA THF league.

Exactly. That is what AAA has done to all levels

Discussed at length here: The dilution of AAA and the impact it is having on all levels of competition

The Flyers youth post was off the top rope. But were they incorrect? No, they were not.

"Don't be fooled into paying double the price to play Tier 2 hockey, come tryout at Flyers Youth"

This is great tag line for parents that don't know any better. I was one of those parents, until I left FY for FE and found out what development is all about. Flyers Elite offers so much more in their tuition than Flyers Youth- 3 hr/week spring ice (April-June), 4 day 6hr/day training camp, 4 tournaments included in tuition, 50+ game schedule, 3-1hr practices/week, 1- 1hr training/week (who left FY), 1-1hr video/week, 1-1hr/skills/goalie clinic/week.

20+ FY kids left for FE last season and 15+ will leave this year. FY is losing most of their players to FE and ML is pissed!

If FY can offer the same ice time, training, skills, video, spring ice, tournaments and most importantly a high level skating program, then I would say stay at FY. FY can't and that is what pisses ML off. Every FE team would destroy FY AA teams (except 2013, but that team is no more once JH leaves for PHC).  If FY wants to get better take my advice, fire ML, hire a real hockey director that knows how to develop kids, give AAA ice time/training and stop nickel and diming for anything extra!

Flyers Youth is adding more skills and power skates by Slava to tuition. Skills are just extra session and not defined. Power skating with Slava is a joke. He is too easy on the players and doesn't show up half the time, so someone else runs skates. I stopped going to FY power skating because Igloo and Hollydell run better skates. I heard FE power skates are great too. I have noticed that other rinks discipline the kids more and don't let them fool around. Flyers Youth is too easy on the kids. Hockey is hard work and should be treated accordingly. Kids have fun when they improve as players. I have heard these empty promises from Mitch before.  This is why we are leaving Flyers Youth! Jags or Hurricanes. Depends on what the other 5 kids leaving Flyers Youth do.
