By not allowing posts challenging the ethics of our friends involved in youth hockey, it could be argued that you are helping the grift.

Granted, disallowing any such talk certainly stops any fakery from being posted, which would be libelous, not slanderous - but by default just censoring everything... never good .... but you are not in the journalism business.  Whatever this site is... a moderated sharing of whatever - take it cum grano salis.... but if you are looking to avoid anything unsavory, this site is not the right resource.  talk trash about parent groups all you want, though!

For example, I have seen in various places, several issues regarding our friend in middletown, nj, and if you, like elsewhere, removed the words, you would be helping our friend in middletown, nj...  But, after all, it takes a village :D

Can we post and challenge the ethics of the POTUS. Who only a few days before the Trump shooting said that it's time Trump is put in a bullseye. It's time for a 3rd party presidency.

Trump gets shot in the ear and Biden shits his pants, they are not the same. If Kennedy picks Tulsi as a running mate I'd consider voting 3rd party otherwise TRUMP 2024

Get ready to hear the cackle for 4yrs. Women and minorities will line up in droves to vote for the cackle just because of sex & race. The cackle was one of the 1st to drop out of the primaries in 2016, got the VP job because of race and sex and will be the next POTUS for the same reason. Lord help us take control of the Senate and keep control of the house. Sunday was a bad bad day for America. Trump should have picked Tulsi and agree if Kennedy would have picked Tulsi I'd vote for him also but he didn't.

Back on topic. The most irritating thing as a hockey parent is having to pay an admission fee to watch my kid. Doesn't happen all the time but talk about a big FU to the parents.

We know you paid thousands of dollars, drove a few hours and aren't going anywhere else. Let's charge them another 40 at the door to let them watch their kid at a tournament they already paid for. I cant wait to be out of hockey.

Is this something that is more recent for hockey? My kid aged out a few years ago, but in the 10+ years he played, we never had to pay to get in the rink for any tournaments. On the other hand, I have other kids who played basketball and even in like 5th grade we we paying $25-30 a weekend to see games. Ridiculous.

Only in scholastic hockey and then it was $20 for a season pass. I never had to pay admission fees to watch my kids in travel. Once in awhile we had to pay to park but that's it.
Also, vote anybody but Harris in 2024

Where? at what level do you pay to get in to watch? My son played at all levels starting at squirt from A to AAA and now club hockey in College and we have never paid to get in to watch, some away College teams charge but we only go to his home games. High School was a $2 entrance fee but those fees to play were only $350-450 a season so what's another $30-40.
Also agree with the other comment. Anyone else but Harris 2024

30 admission fee at the chowder cup. Another 30 if you didnt go to watch on their flo tv. I know live barn is in the rink.

Paying started 2 yrs ago at 14aaa. I think I remember getting hit at 2 tournaments. May have been the beast ones. Last year, admission was charged at the one ushl showcase in Pittsburgh. I believe it was around 40 for the weekend.

Really no reason for except to steal from parents that are going to pay.  I know I know, first world problems...
