Mid Atlantic Hockey Alliance

What was the point? Last season had to drive out past Lancaster PA for one game. It would wind up essentially being a non league game, but if you didn't play you were not eligible for playoffs. Fine. Baby steps at first for this merger or alliance. Now this season only AA teams will cross over it looks like (between NJYHL and DVHL). Anyone know why?
