Site Layout And User Experience

As the site evolves and more leagues and teams are added I fully expect the forum layout to expand exponentially.

What this means for guests is, they'll have to scroll, and scroll a lot because they won't be able to collapse the categories in order to close up teams or leagues they have no interest in viewing. I'd like to make it clear I cannot do anything about collapsible categories for guests. That is session based javascript which relies entirely on a registered user ID, (an identification cookie) in order to remember or forget settings made by the registered user. The session based system identifies guests as single user, not exclusive to each visitor. I apologize but there's nothing I can do from a development level to change that.

With that being said, I do plan on testing out various other options like a front page with hyperlinks pointing directly to the areas of the site that interest our registered users and guests exclusively. My hope is that will cut down on the information overload seen by guest visitors.

I'm always going to try and keep this site as easy to use as possible.

Thanks for reading and thanks for visiting. Thoughts and suggestions are always welcome.
