Team/Coach/Player Movement

Looks like a few things happened over night.

Ken Doak, (currently Hatfield Ice Dogs 16AA) will be coaching Blazers Youth Ice Hockey Club's 16AA in 2019

John Seravalli, (currently Revolution Elite 04) will be among a group of coaches for Blazers Youth Hockey Club 15AA in 2019

Do you know of any other rumors? We're hearing some about Blazers 03's, Grundy 03's, OYR 03's and Rev 04's.

Post what you have.

Blazers are buying everyone, and promising everything. Contracting players in closed door meetings before Nationals 😳

One of those teams at Nationals does that every year. It's become common practice.

Do you blame a club who is willing to actually pay coaches rather than ask parents to volunteer with a stipend? Personally I think paying coaches is great, the club is using their money wisely. The players benefit.

You are allowed to talk just not sign the actual contract until Nationals are over.  Nothing wrong with that.

It’s dissappointing that parents follow into searching for a dream team instead of worrying about their players growth and development.  Organization can buy players but in the end it does not help player development.  The majority of times it doesn’t work.  It’s sad that some coaches have fallen to this level.  They are kids who need development not a dream team!

Paid coaches aren't hired for A or B teams. They're hired for double A and that's where the parents go. They follow the coaches.

Who does genesis have for their other bantam and midget teams? Seems like no one wants to work with the Montagnas. So many coaches leave.
