This is nothing like genesis. Genesis only happened because ice dogs folded to avoid an investigation into missing money they invited wildcats to join because they were afraid to be without a rink. This is the owner’s of revolution purchasing the Royals LLC

As a Royals parent I’m not going to sit here and say nothing. I’ve watched as **** and Gianni have busted their asses to make sure everyone is as happy as can be. The year hasn’t been perfect but they have taken the ups and downs in stride. **** is a great guy and great for the sport.

It’s not the owners of Revolution purchasing Royals. That’s wrong.

Every jockey club has its flaws. Parents get bent because the sport is very expensive and regardless of talent, politics takes over. Leagues need to have no parent coaches and transparency.  Hopefully there will be no parent coaches and fair evaluations and good placement. So many people left the Revolution because of the stupid stuff the rink and management did. Those people may never give it a second chance and believe me, there are a lot of those people. I wish The best of luck for this group. There is potential at Revolution Ice Gardens and it would be nice to see something successful come out of the place. Glad to see they have finally stopped that Independent BS- we all see your stats online-  Tier 1 teams play have their season playing AA teams???  Good luck to all that chose to participate.

Get rid of parent coaches? You better be prepared to have higher fees without anymore ice time.

Look at the topic to this post..... it clearly states that the ownership bought the Royals LLC.

Who knows about the independent stuff as of yet. Last I checked the revolution were banned from the dvhl for recruitment violations. They have tried to get back in a couple of times now that ownership of a dvhl team transferred to the black bear group that might extend to the Royals now too who knows...

Revolution had indicated they were applying to the DVHL in March. As they apparently aren't going to have Tier2 I'm not sure that matters now as Wintersport are already members.

Did you read the first post email from the rink? They are doing the same thing genesis did when the wildcats operation stopped, they combined with the ice dogs and changed their name. They are combining and revolution youth will stop operating. All players in the tier ll level will be royals playing out of warwick twin rinks. Royals are dvhl members so they don't need to apply for dvhl membership. Like the Genesis program they skirt the rules and stay dvhl members without having to start the whole process over again.

The ice dogs folded due to money being missing and avoiding an investigation. The wildcats only bought in because they were afraid to be homeless yet again. This is nothing like that... the revolution were denied access to the dvhl all this looks like is a back door to that judgement
