Video editing

Does anyone have any advice on video editing? So far, I've been videoing our team games on my iPhone and then running it through Wondershare to edit and transfer to MP4 to upload to Youtube to share. This is a very time intensive process that I don't enjoy for one second. Would happily outsource to a service but can't find anything. Any suggestions or a better approach to getting full-length games onto Youtube to share with our team?
Thanks!

Livestream them to YouTube and/or Facebook. That eliminates a separate upload process.

Okay, thank you both for the response. No idea how to livestream but will look into that. I do like to edit first as sometimes we catch parents saying too much :) But will look into anything at this point!

Consider using more automated editing software like Adobe Premiere Rush, which is user-friendly and quicker for cutting down footage without extensive manual intervention. It's designed to handle large files efficiently and could save you some frustration.

Since you're already handling video on your iPhone, if you ever need to include additional content or commentary, you might find it useful to learn how to screen record with sound on a Mac. This feature can capture live reactions or additional commentary, adding a personal touch to your game videos without needing complex setups.
