The Little Flyers 07 team is and was a complete joke...especially when you look and compare the team to the 07 Capitals team which beat the 07 Little Flyers twice last year.  And now look at the difference this year.  The Little Flyers took back roughly half or a little more of their 07s from last year while the Little Caps returned only 1 07 from last year.  You tell me who cares about the product more and who’s in it only for money?

The 06 and 07 Little Flyers teams were voted out of the AYHL along with the Washington Little Caps 07 team for this year. I believe if they perform well they can reapply for admission.

When did this go down? Did parents know before tryouts?

Imagine paying tier 1 money to play for a tier 2 team.

Little Flyer parents have always paid Tier I money to play for Tier II teams.  Besides, American hockey is so inherently bad, if you have a halfway decent team or an improved team, it's probably better to play Independent Tier I than American anyway.

2007 is Bantam Minor? The team should have went back and played Phantoms. At a minor year, playing AA would have been extremely challenging. They could have played A as well, from the sounds of it.

Play AAA tournaments.  Would have been much better for development and the kids fun (which is still a small part of yourh hockey). Worse for the bottom line of the LF.

For sure, totally agree that they have no business trying to fudge a Tier I team/schedule.  This was a team that would have been an average at best AA team last year as PeeWee Majors, and they are bringing back over half the team to play.  Not really sure what PLF is thinking that they have a Tier I team, whereas at least WLC had an inkling and idea that the team they fielded wasn't a Tier I team, and went out and got basically a whole new team except for one player.  They at least had the foresight to know what they needed to do to revamp the team and now they have put a pretty good caliber group together at 07.  The kids they pulled from Ashburn have always had success and are good hockey players.  That team will surprise a lot of people.  Totally different situation on both ends.

Why do these clowns find it necessary to talk about things they know very little about.

This is exactly why you don't have these types of forums for clowns who comment on 12 year old kids.
